FRIENDSHIP OF DOG AND CATS

(story)

One day Bibizada’s dad came home carrying a pouch. Bibizada, who saw it ran out of the room and looked at the pouch. She saw a cat and many kittens in the pouch. Daughter embraced her father and said: “Dad, where did you find?”

- “When I was coming from work, I heard the voice of cats. I looked at all around and saw something in the grasses. Somebody threw tied pouch with kittens in it. Cats meaw with all their might and main. I untied the muzzle and aired them. Then, I came with cats to home” said dad. In reality, these poor beasts were Nisanbay’s cats in village. One day he saw the mother cat striving to the tablecloth and going to do stealing. That time he thought that its kittens would do stealing as their mother and put in pouch the all of them and threw to one side of the road.

- “Oh, poor. They caught a cold” said mother having mercy. Then fed them with milk. Cats slept with joining to bosom of each other. 

Bibizada got out of home to the side of field for playing with cats. Qutliayaq which heard the sound of cats went out of lair and ran to the cats. Mother cat defended them. Qutliayaq started biting. Bibizada worried and cried loudly. Mum heard her daughter crying went out of home. She pursued the dog. Girl played with cats and got them home. Mother cat was not calm. Because there was not one child among the cats. Bibizada ran out of home then, heard the voice of meawing of cat. Dog was attacking to it. 

Mother cat heard the sound of its child and ran out of home then, fought with Qutliayaq. Cat took away them. Mother cat was injured of leg. It lied that could not go for a long time. Bibizada’s mother treated the injury of cat.

Some time passed, mother cat could play freely with its children. Because, Qutliayaq was not an enemy to them anymore. One day when Bibizada went outward, a kitten was playing touching with hand to dog’s nose. She was afraid that dog would bite a cat, but Qutliayaq did not touch it. Just the opposite, they played with each other as real friends. Bibizada was amazed by friendship of dog and cats. Because, She never saw the friendship between dog and cat before!
